on developmental evolution

just as the observable universe is filled with galaxies, solar systems, stars and planets in various stages of their development so too the people and customs of earth can be observed in their various stages of moral, ethical, political and religious development; from primitive systems of oppression and extreme restriction of basic individual rights and freedoms to more advanced open democratic/anarchic organisations where one's freedom balances harmoniously with social responsibilities.
